One of the most beautiful experiences to have as a couple in Cagliari is to wake up early and go to Poetto to see the sunrise. The sun rising directly from the sea creates a silent and very intimate atmosphere, perfect for starting the day calmly. After sunrise you can have breakfast in one of the bars on the beach or get a take-away cappuccino and croissant and eat them directly on the sand, in front of the still calm sea.
Monte Claro and Castello: two very different walks but both romantic

If you prefer historical charm, getting lost in the streets of Castello remains one of the most beautiful things to do as a couple: narrow alleys, historic buildings, sudden glimpses and terraces from which to look at the city from above.
San Benedetto Market: the most authentic part of the city
For something less classic but very real, you can stop by the San Benedetto Market, today in Piazza Nazzari. It is one of the liveliest places to truly understand the scents and flavors of Cagliari: fish, cheeses, bread, fruit, vegetables and local products make the visit simple but very authentic.

If you still have energy in the evening and want to do something truly evocative, sunset tours by boat, dinghy or sailing boat are among the most romantic services to include in a couple's day. The beauty is experiencing the Devil's Saddle from the sea, stopping in front of the coast and enjoying the light that changes on the water while the noise of the waves and seagulls accompanies everything in a very natural way.
